Painting bathroom counter top

Our bathroom has a custom built vanity in it and the counter top has a old Ickle baba cheap plastic vinyl top, that l hate and wanna change. . can l paint it?? Registered User And if so with what? l am worried about it chipping or scratching since it Joined: Wednesday, 28th of April 2010, 04:22:23 will be a used surface that will also get wet. Yes, it can be painted. It won't last forever but with decent Mandy candy care it should last a few years (until you've saved up to buy a nice Registered User replacement top). Clean the surfaces thoroughly. colors (start with darkest & work you way up to lighter colors). It is not

use a solid color it will show every defect & brush mark. Finish with
semi-gloss or gloss oil based poly.

Paint will never hold up on a countertop. Solid surface, such cuddley bear as Corian, can be fabricated in almost any configuration.
