what color and type of tile would look best in my bathroom
hello, we are remodelling our master bathroom and i'm in
desperate need of some help with color coordination. here is some
info: *dark browndouble vanity with stainless steel faucets &
hardware *dark brown linen closet *white bathtub *clear
glass oversized shower with bench. we need to tile the floor, the
entire shower and along the top and side of the bathtub. i want something simple and easy to clean. i love the look of glass tile but it is too pricey for us b/c the bathroom is huge. your suggestions would be much appreciated. thanks! mary
i think a really light green. really light. it is like paint
you gotta get it so it is almost white and when you put it in it will
definitely look green. as for the cheapness thing, go to Lowes. somebody
who is been in the remodeling business for twenty years said its the
cheapest place to get that kind of stuff
The use of color is also something very personal. The best way
to choose a color for the bathroom is to trial with a palette of different
shades and tones, in combination with the color and textures of the
furniture and materials.
varigated shades of tan/brown tiles. Definitely use dark grout.
Cleaning & keeping a light colored grout is a pain. Cleaning tiles are
easy no matter the color.
Orange is nice. I used it once and loved it.
color choices are personal and ones that you have to live with
-those of us on do not. visit a tile store and ask for some samples.
try these out in your home. vary the colors and patterns and don't rush
your choice.
I can not really picture your bathroom in my head, but how
about you try using a tan color. Light Brown. Very light. I think if you
use a checker design: alternating dark brown, and light brown tiles, it
might look nice. Right? lol idk
earth tone or bone color. keep it simple and clean. you can use
glass tiles in small area as an accent of the room.
I think, it would be safe to install tiles that are neutral in
color so that anything you will decorate in the future will look just
fine. Like white, and white is also clean to look at.

I like a dark blue or shade of blue for a bathroom and against
brown it would be a great contrast.
